  6. Ok Hank...are you happy...here's a comment. More importantly, I'll be thinking about Glenda all day tomorrow while she's going through her first chemo and praying it is as positive an experience as it can be.

  9. Thank you both so very much for sharing with us all. It is such a relief when you share your experiences to those of us on the edge of your lives. It is difficult to be a good neighbor when you are concerned about intruding. I’m sending you both deep hugs and lots of prayers and good thoughts. I’m looking forward to my 90 minutes if there is ever an opening. Oh and Glenda, us girls can’t wait to get together with you real soon hear all the details about your handsome soul mate and all the wonderful things he does for you! (-:

  10. Glenda, Knowing you, and between you, Mike, Lisa & Lori, I have no doubt the fight will be short and sweet. What a team you have with you and all of us on the periferal who are here for you. I can't wait to see the 'wig' and the mad 'hatter's' party sounds fantastic.
Tons of prayers, lots of hugs, fingers toes and tails crossed here. xo, Lori

  11. We're looking forward to the "green light" at the end of this tunnel -- a dinner at Gavi's (or any other possibility) or maybe I'll try to concoct something. And, don't forget "the party" is just 5 months away! Thinking of you both with lots of love. Pam and Doug

  12. This is my first comment so I hope it works. We've been praying steadily for you both. If you have any in between time you are always welcome in Mexico. Cold beer for the Mikes, Cold A.C. and hot sea water are available. We live there more than in Tucson. Cool blog. love, Rhea & Mike.

  13. Glenda & Mike,

My love and prayers are with both of you during this difficult time. Glenda, you are very strong and such a trouper and have a loving family and group of friends to support you. You are very dear to me and please know that I'm here for you if you need anything at all. Since I'm unemployed at this time, I have free time to help with anything and I mean anything even if it's just loving support. I really admire your strength and for sharing with all of us who care. The blog is a wonderful way for us to take each step with you as you labor towards a complete recovery. Keep the faith, we have an awesome God and he knows your needs and he does answer prayers. Love and hugs to you and the family.

I finally sat down long enough to figure this 'blog' business out.

Like everyone else, you're in my thoughts and in my prayers. With your positive attitude, and a wonderful family to help you through this, I have no doubt that you will come through this ordeal with flying colors. I know what a strong woman you are and this disease will not beat you.

Please call me if you need anything at all, and when this is over (or before, if you're up to it) we'll go out to lunch and celebrate.
